Inner city school for children with special educational needs with adjacent hydrotherapy pool (school completed in 2004 and hydro pool added in 2010). Pupils at Jack Tizard are aged between 3 and 17 years and have severe learning and physical difficulties, including sensory impairments. Scuh considerations had an enormous effect on the design requirements and Sprunt had to employ a variety of features to satisfy both student and staff needs.
