St. Edmunds Terrace

This tenure-blind development includes private and affordable housing on the western edge of Primrose Hill.

Despite difficult access and limited public transport which would suggest a density of 30 to 50 units per hectare (planning guideline), Sprunt’s proposal for 165 units per hectare was considered acceptable because of its design quality.

The scheme has a strong focus on environmental sustainability with 12.5% of energy coming from renewable sources and Code level 4 for Sustainable Homes.  All homes are designed to Lifetime Home standard and provide 10% wheelchair adaptable units.
